Design and development of a web application to present a collection of indicators related to scientific production and scientific culture in Spain.
The objective of the web application is to make it easier for citizens to visually explore and understand scientific production and scientific culture data. Data is organised in different sections, each dealing with a particular aspect of science production and culture.
Likewise, it is possible to compare the evolution of the indicators, both in the different autonomous communities of Spain, and in different countries. The website is constantly evolving, adding new data and sections every year, with the aim of becoming a reference platform for scientific indicators in Spain.

Challenges achieved
- Creation of multi-level interactive visualizations, to easily navigate between areas and subareas of knowledge
- Creation of small multiple charts, to communicate and compare data across regions of Spain
- Responsive design optimized for mobile, desktop and tablet devices
- Simple integration of the application in the client's server and website
- Automatic update of charts when new data files are published
