We are incredibly proud to share that our project “Pathways to Prosperity for Adolescent Girls in Africa”, developed in collaboration with Population Council, has been awarded Silver in the Humanitarian category at the 2024 Information is Beautiful Awards.

These awards are among the most respected recognitions in the field of data visualization. The Humanitarian category highlights projects that not only demonstrate excellence in design and clarity, but also aim to improve lives, raise awareness, and drive positive change. To see our work recognized here — alongside outstanding initiatives from some of the world’s leading organizations — is an immense honor.

This moment is especially meaningful for us because it connects so closely to the mission and vision of OneTandem: using data to tell stories that matter. When we founded the studio, we dreamed of creating visual narratives that could amplify important voices and help organizations like Population Council make a bigger impact. This award reinforces that we’re on the right path.

We also want to express our gratitude to Amanda Makulec and Andy Cotgreave, two long-time inspirations in the dataviz world, for presenting the award during the ceremony. It was truly a highlight to be part of such a vibrant and talented global community.
